When you are approaching the end of your warranty, we will contact you to discuss your on-going maintenance options. Our maintenance services are audited externally to the relevant NFAP-72 and NYC CODE standards as part of our industry accreditation.

Under the NFAP-72 & NYC CODE Semi-Annual Maintenance Program, our trained technicians will perform the following services on each visit:

1. A property survey to determine the quantity, type and location of smoke alarms already installed.
2. An inspection of each alarm device for correct and secure fitting.
3. Clean all smoke detector and calibrate as required.
4. Replace batteries yearly in all alarm systems with removable batteries.
5. Check all alarms for audible notification.
6. Check all alarms for visual indicators.
7. Verify signals with Central Station Monitoring.
8. Replace any devices causing false alarms.
9. Record all details in Prime Alarms database.
10. Provide Client with proper completion paperwork for their records.
